Responsive Bonding & First Movement

Infants learn the world by being held and answered. Our cradle room offers dimmable light, soft flooring, treasure baskets, and one primary caregiver who knows each baby's feeding and sleep cues.

Sensory Exploration & Walking Independence

Toddlers transition rapidly from crawling to running. Our classroom provides low wooden balance ramps, sensory water channels, soft reading corners, and empathetic educator co-regulation for emotional safety.

Language Expansion & Social Play

Explorers ask more questions than anyone can answer. This room keeps materials open-ended and projects long, with bilingual story circles, clay work, and daily forest discovery.

School Readiness & Independence

The year before school is about confidence as much as content. Children build stamina for longer tasks through phonics, journalling, real-world number problems, and classroom jobs they own.

The Nurtiva Formula

3 Pillars of Holistic Early Learning

Woman in green jacket outdoors holding a clipboard, smiling while looking at it near pine trees.
Pillar 01
Certified Forest School Principles

Children spend 90+ minutes daily in our biodiverse forest, growing vegetables, studying rain patterns, and learning tactile physics with mud and wood.

Two young men sit together with a book, one looking concerned and the other explaining.
Pillar 02
Chef-Led Organic Nutrition

Every meal is cooked fresh on campus from seasonal produce, and children help wash, tear, and stir their own lunch in weekly kitchen sessions.

Two brown pots with food, wooden pepper mills, fresh tomatoes, and green onions on a rustic wooden table.
Pillar 03
Emotional Literacy First

Daily mindfulness circles give children the words for big feelings, so conflict becomes a conversation they can lead rather than one an adult has to settle.

Parent Stories

What Families Tell Us

Portrait of a young man with glasses, styled dark hair, a trimmed beard, wearing a dark shirt over white tee.

"Finding Nurtiva was the greatest blessing of our parenting journey. Our twin daughters are flourishing socially, physically, and creatively beyond our expectations."

Serious man with short black hair and small gold earrings wearing a dark suit and white shirt, crossing his arms, with a watch on his left wrist and pens in his jacket pocket.

"The forest sessions sold us, but it was the handover notes that won us over. We hear what our son actually did, not a summary that could describe any child."

Smiling young man with neatly groomed dark hair and beard, wearing a dark blue suit, white shirt, and red tie, against a light gray background.

"Our daughter arrived speaking almost no English. Six months on she switches between two languages mid-sentence and nobody made a fuss about it."

What are your educator-to-child ratios?

Ratios start at 1:3 in the infant cradle and widen gradually to 1:8 in Kindergarten Prep. Every room keeps a consistent primary educator so your child is known by name, not just supervised.

How long does it take a child to settle in?

Most children settle within two to three weeks. We plan a staggered start with you, keep goodbyes short and predictable, and send a photo once your child has re-engaged with the room.

How do you handle meals and allergies?

All meals and snacks are cooked fresh on campus each morning. The kitchen is fully nut-free, and we cater for allergies, halal, kosher and vegetarian diets without serving a separate meal at a separate table.

Do children go outside in bad weather?

Children go outdoors every day in all but severe weather, with a minimum of 90 minutes in the forest yard. Send waterproofs and boots; we keep spare kit on site for the days you forget.

How will I know how my child's day went?

You'll get daily updates in the parent app covering meals, naps, activities and educator observations, plus a quarterly development conference and a portfolio of your child's work.

Must my child be toilet trained to join?

Not at all. Children join us at every point in the year, and toilet learning is something we support alongside you rather than a requirement for a place.
