Infant Nurture Cradle

A quiet infant room built around responsive care, predictable feeding and sleep rhythms, and one consistent primary caregiver.

About the Infant Nurture Curriculum

In the first year a baby learns the world through being held, fed, and answered. The Nurture Cradle is built around that: dimmable light, soft flooring, and a low caregiver ratio so every cry is responded to quickly. Each infant keeps one primary caregiver who knows their cues, their feeding rhythm, and how they like to be settled to sleep.

Core Curriculum Pillars

  • Responsive Bonding:One consistent caregiver reading and answering each baby's cues.
  • Sensory Discovery:Mobiles, mirrors, textured fabrics, and treasure baskets within reach.
  • Movement Foundations:Daily floor time, tummy work, and space to roll, reach, and push up.

How We Document Growth

Caregivers record feeding, sleeping, and nappy routines alongside the small firsts that matter most: rolling, reaching, babbling, and the moment a baby recognises a familiar face across the room.

  • Daily feed, sleep, and nappy log in the parent app
  • Individual milestone portfolio with photographs
  • Quarterly family-development conference
  • Shared settling plan before moving into Toddler Nest Studio

What Communication Looks Like in Infant Nurture Cradle

Families receive a full daily record plus a short note from the primary caregiver, and we follow your home routine rather than asking a baby to adapt to ours.

What are your educator-to-child ratios?

Ratios start at 1:3 in the infant cradle and widen gradually to 1:8 in Kindergarten Prep. Every room keeps a consistent primary educator so your child is known by name, not just supervised.

How long does it take a child to settle in?

Most children settle within two to three weeks. We plan a staggered start with you, keep goodbyes short and predictable, and send a photo once your child has re-engaged with the room.

How do you handle meals and allergies?

All meals and snacks are cooked fresh on campus each morning. The kitchen is fully nut-free, and we cater for allergies, halal, kosher and vegetarian diets without serving a separate meal at a separate table.

Do children go outside in bad weather?

Children go outdoors every day in all but severe weather, with a minimum of 90 minutes in the forest yard. Send waterproofs and boots; we keep spare kit on site for the days you forget.

How will I know how my child's day went?

You'll get daily updates in the parent app covering meals, naps, activities and educator observations, plus a quarterly development conference and a portfolio of your child's work.

Must my child be toilet trained to join?

Not at all. Children join us at every point in the year, and toilet learning is something we support alongside you rather than a requirement for a place.
