Educator Biography & Philosophy

Sarah holds a Master's in Early Childhood Education from UT Austin with advanced specialization in the Reggio Emilia methodology. Prior to joining Nurtiva in 2020, she led early discovery programs in Seattle and Milan.

She designs open-ended, child-led investigations that turn everyday curiosity — a puddle, a shadow, a snail — into rich weeks-long learning projects.

"My goal is not to fill an empty vessel, but to kindle a fire that burns with joy for the rest of their lives."

How Sarah Builds a Classroom Culture
